Story
Get to Know Us
Nic had her first jewellery making lesson whilst living in Thailand in 2011, where she learned basic skills and hand tie jewellery making. From then on it became a hobby where she made jewellery for herself, friends and family.
In June 2023, with the support of Nic's son, Matt, that hobby morphed into Serendipitous Magpie. When trying to decide upon a name, Matt pointed out that whenever they went shopping Nic was like a magpie and drawn to everything sparkly. Matt also mentioned that making these craft items and selecting them from unexpected places around the world brought Nic happiness. The name Serendipitous Magpie felt perfect for the company.
With the support of Matt, in July 2023, Serendipitous Magpie attended their first craft market in South Wales. Serendipitous Magpie now thoroughly enjoys regularly attending craft markets in South Wales.
All items are handmade with love and made to order. All items can be custom made and commission requests are very welcome.

Bought a Candle holder, Book marks and Wine glass charms as gifts from Serendipitous Magpie. Everything was beautiful!! They were very willing to change some of the crystals to the colours I wanted.
